NOTICE OF ONE VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR

DRAYTON BASSET PARISH COUNCIL

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1972 (Sec 87(2))

Notice is hereby given that due to the resignation of Chris Williams, a casual vacancy has arisen in the office of a Parish Councillor at Drayton Bassett Parish Council.

If, within 14 days (excluding Saturdays, Sunday and Public Holidays*) after this notice, a request for election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer by TEN electors from the parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy; otherwise the vacancy will be filled by Drayton Bassett Parish Council by co-option:
